Abbreviated Adult Program (ABB)
Starting July 1, 2017, adults age 21 years and older who have failed their attempt at the maneuverability and/or road test (and are NOT Limited Term Licensers) are required to take an Abbreviated Adult Training Course.

Limited Term License Adult Program
Effective July 1, 2025, applicants seeking Ohio's Limited Term License must successfully complete 24 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training. Applicants are also required to provide a notarized 50 hour affidavit when taking your driving test at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV).
